A little about myself:
I currently serve as a Principal at Sunny Hill Intermediate School School. Although I am not teaching in the classroom anymore on a daily basis, I continue to have the opportunity to spread my passion and love of Biology serving as an adjunct instructor at University of Tennessee at Martin by teaching Biology I & II. I've been teaching Biology and helping other science teachers for over 10 years now. I started as Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Memphis back in 2012 where I taught various labs from Microbiology, Biology I for both majors and non-majors and Anatomy and Physiology. This experience of teaching students primarily through hands-on learning turned out to be instrumental in my development as an educator. After completing my M.S in Biology 2015 with a focus in evolution (weevil), biodiversity, and ecology, I took my first full time teaching job at Munford High School teaching Biology I and Biology II. This website marks my efforts at compiling materials and curriculum used during my time in the classroom.
